We were so excited to welcome New York Times bestselling author Kate Messner for virtual visits with our eight elementary schools as part of our One District, One Author campaign!
With more than 70 children’s books to her name, including Ranger in Time, the Over and Under series, History Smashers, and many more, Kate captivated students across the district. She shared how she develops her series, the research that brings her stories to life, and answered thoughtful questions from our young readers about her writing and reading process.
The Plymouth Kiwanis Club made a generous donation which allowed us to purchase sets of Kate Messner's titles for each of our elementary schools. The funds also purchased books for classes and individual students to win as prizes for activities throughout the month! THANK YOU PLYMOUTH KIWANIS!
