The Plymouth School Committee is seeking candidates to fill a vacancy on the board due to the resignation of member Michelle Badger, effective December 17, 2024. This appointment will serve until the next Town Election.
How to Apply:
Interested individuals are invited to submit a Letter of Interest and resume to the Plymouth School Committee, c/o Mrs. Tricia Liskov, Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools, 11 Lincoln Street, Plymouth, MA 02360. All applications must be received no later than Thursday, December 19, 2024.
Candidate Forum:
Candidates should be prepared to attend the Plymouth School Committee Open Seat Appointment Candidate Forum on the evening of Monday, January 6, 2025. This forum will provide an opportunity for community members to learn more about each candidate and their vision for the School Committee. The appointment will be made by remaining members of the School Committee and members of the Select Board.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be a registered voter in the Town of Plymouth. The person appointed will serve on the School Committee until the next town election.
