We're so happy to announce that Ms. Kathleen Shaw, sixth grade Math & Science teacher in Gemini House at PCIS, was just named one of five MA State Finalists for the National Science Foundation's Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST)! Ms. Shaw is an exceptional teacher and a tremendous asset to our school community, and we wish her all the best in the finals! 🥰

3/21 is World Down Syndrome Day! Show your support and help us recognize this day district-wide by wearing brightly colored or mismatched socks. March 21st is symbolic because people with Down Syndrome have 3 copies of chromosome 21. 🧦

We're thrilled to announce Mr. Derek Thompson as the new Principal of South Elementary School, starting July 1st! With over a decade of leadership experience at Henry B. Burkland Elementary in Middleborough, Mr. Thompson brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to our community. His passion for fostering a positive and inclusive school culture will undoubtedly benefit all our students. Let's give him a warm welcome!
