We're so excited to welcome Nutritionist Olivia Bengtson to Plymouth Public Schools! Olivia has set up tastings through the Food Services Department during lunches at several schools across the district. The "Harvest of the Month" program encourages students to try new fruits and vegetables through the Massachusetts Farm to School Initiative. September's vegetable of the month is a tomato, and Olivia created 2 dishes; tabouli and caprese for students to sample! 🍅

TODAY: The Salvation Army in Plymouth is teaming up with Boston 25 for the annual Stuff-the-Bus event to challenge our community to fill an entire truck full of new school supplies in one day! The collection is being held at Walmart in Plymouth until 6 PM tonight! Throughout the year, The Salvation Army is ensuring that hundreds of local youth have a safe place to learn, grow, and thrive in their out of school time while also providing many local families with rent, utility, and food assistance. If you have the means, feel free to stop by and help ensure our students are prepared to thrive in school.

One World, One Sky follows Sesame Street's Big Bird and Elmo as they explore the night sky with Hu Hu Zhu, a Muppet from Zhima Jie, the Chinese co-production of Sesame Street. Together, they take an imaginary trip from Sesame Street to the moon, where they discover how different it is from Earth. Children attending the show can interact as they watch, drawing constellations and counting the time it takes the sun to set.
