Vision Statement of the School Library and Technology Program

  • Our goal is to foster a culture of literacy and learning that promotes academic success while encouraging independent reading, self-directed learning, responsible digital citizenship, and the development of essential digital skills.

Mission Statement of the School Library and Technology Program

  • The Library/Technology program within our elementary schools is committed to equipping students with essential research and digital literacy skills. We aim to inspire a love of reading and lifelong learning while creating a collaborative environment that promotes high-quality resources, innovation, creativity, accessibility, critical-thinking, communication skills, and achievement.

Literacy and Information Technology Class

All students participate in Literacy and Information Technology Class each week.

  • Computer Science

  • Digital Storytelling

  • Maps and Graphic Organizers

  • Augmented and Virtual Reality

  • Data and Spreadsheets

  • Virtual Field Trips
