For more than 100 years, the National Parent Teacher Association (National PTA) has been a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for public education.The overall purpose of PTA is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

The West PTA is made up of parents interested in giving support to the school and its children. Headed by elected officers, the PTA includes various committees all committed to supporting and providing for the school in many ways. Field trips, Cultural Arts, School Store, School Spirit and many other activities that are an integral part of West school are sponsored by the PTA. All parents are considered PTA members and are encouraged to become involved.

The PTA generally meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM virtually.
