Dear Plymouth Parents, Guardians & Community Members - Please read the following letter from PPS Administration regarding the upcoming Strategic Planning Forum Dates. The quality of our district's Strategic Plan will be directly related to the quality of feedback and participation in these Focus Group Sessions. At this time, Plymouth Public Schools is seeking volunteers to participate in these sessions with our TLA (Teaching & Learning Alliance) Consultants. Please see the opportunities to meet with our consultants and share your thoughts at one of the following forums: January 8th at 6:00 PM at Plymouth South High School in the Cafeteria, or January 16th at 6:00 PM at Plymouth North High School in the Lecture Hall. 🔔 Please be advised: Due to the weather, there are several road closures and road hazards. Therefore, we anticipate that buses will be late. Please be patient as we work in collaboration with the town to get everyone home safely. Thank you! Also, due to the continued high winds and power outages, there will be NO after school activities. Over the summer, Plymouth North High School Facilities Management student Annalise Lopes won GOLD at the SkillsUSA National Championship! The Plymouth South High School GDVC department has been entering the Greatest Save National PSA contest every year since 2013. This contest asks students to create a 30-second PSA dealing with an issue that is affecting teens. In that time, Plymouth South has had 2 national winners: Jacob Jobe in 2017 and Taylor Gendron in 2022. Recently, The Greatest Save held a vote to decide the Greatest National PSA of all time, with 10 years worth of National winners in the running. The results were just announced, and PSHS graduate Taylor Gendron is officially the G.O.A.T! Taylor produced a PSA about depression and the effects it can have on high school students. Taylor is currently studying Film at the University of Hartford, and we are extremely proud of all her accomplishments. Congratulations Taylor and PSHS! 🎦🎉
