Science Curriculum
It is our vision that graduates of the Plymouth Public Schools have an appreciation for the world around them and the impact that they have on this fragile planet. We hope that the graduates’ appreciation aligns with overarching themes such as: cause and effect, structure and function, and stability and change. It is also anticipated that through their actions, we anticipate Plymouth graduates making responsible decisions to promote a healthy environment for all. This is possible through the meaningful learning experiences we provide for students to make sense of the world around them. Through the development of these explanations, it is expected that graduates will be proficient in their use of science and engineering practices in order to solve problems and/or explain phenomena in both the natural and man-made worlds. Curriculum materials used to support this vision varies by level. For more information, please see below.
