It’s not everyday that the Commissioner of Education visits your school! 😱 The community at Cold Spring Elementary School was thrilled to welcome Commissioner Jeffrey C. Riley to witness the dedication to learning happening within the walls of CSES.
Commissioner Riley spoke with numerous staff members including CSES Principal, Chris Morgan, and Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Christopher Campbell, about the tight-knit community and vibrant culture at Cold Spring. The Commissioner toured the building and experienced learning firsthand by popping into several classrooms.
Fifth grade reporters in the EDTV Kids program had the opportunity to ask Commissioner Riley some thoughtful questions about his role in education, and what he took from his time spent at CSES.
