During the summer of 2025, the Town of Plymouth's Distinguished Visitors Committee will offer a chaperoned cultural enrichment trip to our sister town of Shichigahama, Japan, for 7 days (July 31st to August 6th). Roughly 10 students living in Plymouth, currently in grades 7 and 8, who reside in the Town of Plymouth, will be selected to represent the town as Student Ambassadors to travel to Shichigahama, Japan.
Anticipated costs for the trip are approximately $4,000 per person (travel and miscellaneous expenses).
Students and Parents/Guardians must work on and submit an application together by February 14, 2025. If selected, you will be contacted to meet with our interview panel, which will consist of both School Committee and District Administration.
Interviews are scheduled to be conducted on the evening of February 25, 2025. Please be sure to keep that evening open if you would like to participate.
