There are "hundreds" of reasons to celebrate going to school! ๐ Friday, February 2nd was officially the 100th Day of the school year. Many students across the district marked this milestone in style. They dressed up as what they might look like at one hundred years old, wearing their finest cardigans, glasses, and even suspenders. ๐

This yearโs Poetry Out Loud: National Recitation Contest at PNHS was one to remember! Out of thirty semifinalists, fourteen students from Plymouth North High School advanced to the school finals for Poetry Out Loud on the evening of January 18th. The finalists were truly exceptional, reciting poems from memory with poise and enthusiasm for the judges and audience. Students were tasked with reciting two poems in two separate rounds, and were judged based on their accuracy, voice and articulation, physical presence, interpretation, evidence of understanding, and overall performance. Congratulations to first-place winner, Evan Johnson, and runner-up, Michaela DerKinderen! Evan will be competing in the Massachusetts Poetry Out Loud Semifinals on Cape Cod in early March. Good luck, Evan! We wish you all the best!
